A STORY OF LOVE, ADDICTION, REDEMPTION AND ADOPTION
My goals for my book are threefold:
I want to raise awareness on the devastation of addiction, in particular heroin and fentanyl. I would love for every teenager to understand that just one taste has the potential to destroy your future and very possibly your life.
I also would like every grandparent out there who is raising one or more of their grandchildren to know and believe that, while it may seem too much right now, it will get better. It will get easier. It will likely become one of the most rewarding endeavors of your life.
Finally, I want everyone to know and never doubt that God is in control. “Our Second Pair of Kids” is all of these and more. It’s a really good story with a really powerful ending. It’s the last six years of my life. It’s about two kids who changed it. It’s the most important story I’ve ever written.
